Implementation / Evaluation

Implementation is a critical part of the instructional design process. Whilst other training support designers might simply deliver the syllabus and courseware to the customer and step back, Pilotwise understands that the learning platform must be supported to be fully effective.

Although we are properly confident that our analysis, design and development phases will deliver to the requirement; during the implementation phase we want to ensure the system:

• performs as predicted
• improves operational performance as required
• supports all instructional and student needs

Evaluation determines the value and effectiveness of the training programme. This is clearly important to the customer but it also matters greatly to us as the system designer. Both customer and Pilotwise want to know:

• that students and instructors enjoy the training programme
• that students acquire the right level of knowledge and skills
• the skills acquired transfer correctly to the frontline roles
• the results of the programme - effectiveness, efficiency, safety, etc
