About Us
Pilotwise International is a training support specialist and technical service provider based in the UK. Since the company was formed in 1987, it has become recognised internationally for the quality of its work and its significant contribution to many training systems and training cultures.
Our directors, managers, staff and contracted subject matter experts (SMEs) come from a variety of backgrounds; test and display pilots, flying instructors, aviation safety management specialists, project managers, business strategists and media designers – each of them extremely skilled in their chosen field. Pilotwise has extensive experience in the following areas and a willingness to extend this expertise as required, building the right team as dictated by a client’s specific requirements.
Pilotwise are specialists in the design and implementation of Best Practice in military pilot training systems, and have supported the introduction and integration of military pilot training at every stage: Grading/Primary, Basic, Advanced, Lead-in Fighter and OCU. Pilotwise has also been BAE Systems' Pilot Training SME for all Hawk 100 series aircraft, and has supported Pilatus Aircraft with their PC-7, PC-9 and PC-21 programmes worldwide.
Pilotwise understands how to optimise training to generate front line aircrew with minimum risk. We have supported many air forces upgrading their training platforms and have been able to learn from other's experiences. Pilotwise uses this insight to support a safe and efficient transition to new training capabilities and to identify potential pitfalls. We have the unique experience of having worked on a variety of training systems in use by a large number of Air Forces around the world. Using this experience we can advise on how to reduce operating risk, increase effective utilisation and better focus the training system on those skills-sets required by front-line operations.
